@Raimpstage Just don't get too accustomed to TDM. Nothing in there really translates to CTF other than shooting the guns (and then not completely :P). It's missing most of the depth of the game.

Look at your energy bar. You burned your energy floating around the tower, and didn't let go of the jet button at any point (you could have just fallen back down without holding jet), ergo no energy for crossing the gap.
The speed hacking to the top of the tower was funny though.
