China doesn't play big brother because they can't. They'll be just like the US if not worse once they build up their military. They're going to attack Taiwan for sure. They've also had disputes with Vietnam over oil in the area.

Generally because you don't provide Air Support fort us. The US provides most air support for all coalition forces. There has never been a ground to ground friendly fire incident between US British troops.
