At Garfish our focus is on serving the freshest fish available at a reasonable price. In conjunction with Sydneys leading fish suppliers we source fish at its very best from the market floor & from individual producers around Australia. We often select lesser-know fish varieties because they are the best available on the day.

You may select a dish from our menu or customise your own dish by selecting a fish from the blackboard menu, choosing how you would like it cooked & matching it with the garnish of your choice.

Established current business Garfish at Kirribilli in 2002 and soon after launched the Crows Nest outlet in 2004 followed by the third Garfish opening in Manly late 2006.

Educated in NZ to tertiary level completing a Three Year Hotel Management Diploma.

Interests

Out of necessity and self-preservation fending of a particularly vexatious neighbour I became involved in NSC Kirribilli streetscape meetings so it was a natural progression to become involved in the Crows Nest mainstreet committee. I continue to participate in these forums.

Always involved as a NSW Restaurant and Catering member, I eventually became a board member in 2005 and am actively involved in progressing the growth and improvement of our vital industry. In 2007 I was nominated as a NSW delegate to the National Restaurant and Catering Assoc of Australia. I also represent the Association at Service Skills Australia.

Being an employer I am particularly aware of a skills shortage. Our business and managers face continual pressure in hiring/training and retaining people. I wish to be involved in the process of changing this employment dilemma. Hence my involvement with RCA and SSA.
