I love that this is referred to as uncensored, I live in Greece, where people have a more sensible and healthier outlook regarding censorship - this was played on the radio 'uncensored' every day! Nobody suffered.

Music is subjective, if I'm being honest, I find this really boring, whereas I find the Ram Jam version dynamic and energetic...but I can't say the Ram Jam version is better, that's when the problem starts...simply, I prefer it....

@jave36 It is not spectacular...nor meant to be. The playing is faultless. The song is simple. Perhaps deceptively so & all the better for it. The singing is technically good, especially the note 4 note duet with the guitar solo.

The lyrics are mature & plaintive & have touched many, many people....

OK. I can understand if you DON'T like it, if you have a lack of liking for this..but to actively DIS-like?...Please explain, is it that you don't like people, guitars, people who play guitars? An explanation of your dislike would be educational for me...
