i like to freestyle skateboard...even though im bad at it i still have fun...it's really not about being good or fitting in the cool crowd, i could care less about any of that. What it should be about is just you, and what you can do with a plank of wood and a few tricks that you take and make it your own.
I dont think anyone should tell you how to skateboard, skateboarding should come from you, you're the one skating. They can give advice on how to improve yourself, but if they tell you to row your boat in a totally different direction that you row, dont do it. Just do your own thing. You may not be great at it and people may even talk trash about how you perform, but if it makes you happy, if that's what makes you smile in the morning, obviously it's your passion and later on in the end you'll look back and see that, You'll see what was really important in life.
