I am Gaius Iulius Taberna aka Giuliano Taverna and I am an independent. When I was little growing up in Massachusetts I was a hardcore environmentalist liberal progressive. I supported Bill Clinton for reelection in 1996 even though I was unable to vote. However as I got older I began to realize how perverted liberalism has become. I supported Al Gore in 2000, but I supported George Bush for reelection in 2004, and I voted for John McCain as a registered republican in 2008. I then got fed up with republicans and went independent. You can thank the tea party for that.I'm a liberal on social and environmental issues. A moderate on economic issues, and on foreign policy I have the position that democrats had up until Linden Banes Johnson and the position that republicans have had since. That is that military intervention should be used to protect the national interest and defend human rights around the world.
I would support the UN if it had teeth, but the UN has none and it can't enforce its own laws and treaties. Until this changes the sole global superpower America must enforce these laws itself. the alternative is global anarchy and anarchy is the death of civilization and freedom.
I'm not at all happy with the republican party, I was against the Bush Bail out, I have always been against social conservatism, and anarcho capitalism, however I hate Isolationism. I don't believe in any conspiracy theories, and I know the NWO conspiracy is based on Anti Semitism. Neo Con and Banker are used as a code words for Jew, and people like Ron Paul have a dark history of racist Newsletters which are available online for everyone to see.
http://tinyurl.com/ngy7q9
The only thing I have to say about the Federal Reserve is that it is not unconstitutional, it is not part of a conspiracy, and it is regulated by a board of elected governors so it is not "private." We adopted central banking along with the rest of the world to prevent bank runs and panics, which happened constantly before we adopted a central Bank. Two of our Founding Fathers, George Washington and Alexander Hamilton conceived and approved of the first Central bank, and as they helped write the constitution I think they know better than the Ron Paul cult.
I'm getting sick and tired of islamophobic bigots sending me invites as if I would chose to associate myself with moronic rednecks who couldn't point to Afghanistan on a map. Please drop dead, we are at war with Islamic fundamentalist terrorism, not Islam as a religion, or any middle eastern ethnicity, whether they be Turks, Arabs, Persians, or indigenous populations in the Levant. These neo crusaders are the moral equivalent to the jihadists and should be dismissed out of hand.
I endorse the revised ten commandments of Christopher Hitchens and encourage all of you to do the same
1.Do not condemn people on the basis of their ethnicity or color.
2.Do not ever use people as private property.
3.Despise those who use violence or the threat of it in sexual relations.
4.Hide your face and weep if you dare to harm a child.
5.Do not condemn people for their inborn nature—why would God create so many homosexuals only in order to torture and destroy them?
6.Be aware that you too are an animal and dependent on the web of nature, and think and act accordingly.
7.Do not imagine that you can escape judgment if you rob people with a false prospectus rather than with a knife.
8.Turn off that fvcking cell phone—you have no idea how unimportant your call is to us.
9.Denounce all jihadists and crusaders for what they are: psychopathic criminals with ugly delusions and terrible sexual repressions.
10.Be willing to renounce any god or any religion if any holy commandments should contradict any of the above.
If anyone is interested in discussing these or other ideas feel free to visit my forum,
http://giulianosforum.createaforum.com/index.php
A special note to trouble makers, you can't post until you are given a rank by me without getting each post approved again by me, and this makes it impossible to spam my board. It is and will remain a free forum dedicated to the open exchange of ideas and I welcome people who disagree with me, provided that they respect the rules which are sensible and straightforward, and available in the appropriate topic.
In addition to politics I am a huge fan of history and especially Roman history. I consider myself a modern day roman, and all of my ideals are based on classical virtues and beliefs. I belong to Nova Roma, SVR, and like to hang out at local events when they happen.
