About Me:
Since then, Gabriela has performed extensively in North and South America, Europe and Asia, both in recital and as a concerto soloist. As encores, she began to invite audience members to suggest themes on which she improvised in a wide variety of styles, letting her musical imagination take over. "It is the most natural and spontaneous way I can express myself," she says. "I connect with my audience in a completely unique way -- and they connect with me." Montero won the Echo Klassik 2006 award as "Keyboard Instrumentalist of the Year" for her EMI recital disc.
Gabriela's unique ability to engage with her audience and improvise on their own suggested themes has also been translated into the digital world with the exciting new online session concept, "Live from my Living Room." The facility, on her own website, enables fans to email in their own requests which are then taken as material for her bi-monthly improvisational sessions broadcast live on the site.

Como discípulo de la técnica Scaramuzza, he visto pocos grandes pianistas que dominen esa postura al piano. Todo el despliegue emocional fluye sin dificultades y tu posibilidades son ilimitadas con tu talento de la improvisación . Un ejemplo para la juventud.
