I enjoy seeing those areas on the hickock43 compound which extends beyond the range. My shooting takes place about half an hour away from my home on a few acres we own which is bordered by a small river. I am in Louisiana and your terrain appears very similar. Thanks for sharing.

The speed in which the recoil occurs is most impressive. The straight on camera angle from :42 - :50 demonstrates it best, that bad boy snaps back so fast the camera can't capture the movement. @theKGB65 Thanks for the explanation Kevin, even someone as "Physics Challenged" as I am can get my head wrapped around the bullet being slowed and the energy being absorbed by the ice. In my mind, your explanation also explains why the bullets are not deformed since they are not stopped suddenly...
