Our mission is three-fold:

1. Provide access to INDEPENDENT PERSPECTIVES on Gaba Corporation and the eikaiwa (English Conversation) industry in Japan.

2. Promote EQUAL RIGHTS for foreign and Japanese nationals who work for or with Gaba Corporation, according to the labor standards law in Japan.

3. Increase awareness about the UNJUST WORK CONDITIONS at Gaba Corporation. (Details below)

At the 35 Learning Studios in the Kanto, Kansai and Chubu regions , over 2,000 instructors have contracts that offer:

No health insurance.
No unemployment or pension insurance.
No paid holidays.
No set salary.
No right to challenge negative evaluations by clients.
No right to challenge unfair dismissals.
