once upon a time i had 4 videos stored on youtube. i loved them very much. i only kept 1 public and it had almost 2 thousand views! my beloved vids weren't saved on my computer or any other. then one day i couldn't log in. i searched myself on youtube and didnt show up. i searched my videos on youtube and they didnt either. They never did.
my account had been deleted without any notice or warning. bad youtube :(

what happened?
it took a few hours of searching to find any help and info. youtube "help" is a joke, it leads you in circles and manages to avoid ever answering your question. there is no user support. it is nearly impossible to find a way to contact them. all i got was forums. the deeper i dug the more frustrated and upset i became. but i guess i found my answer, after hours of looking through forums and crap. google owns youtube, and google's email application is called gmail...my youtube had gotten shut down along with a gmail account that i had closed the day before. does that make sense? it shouldnt. and its about to make even less: my youtube account was in no way related to that gmail account. when i first created my youtube account i dont even think gmail existed yet... i made it under an msn account and never changed it. the gmail account was absolutely useless, i had never used it before, it was not connected to any other account ever, i didnt even remember making it. it did have the same name before the @ sign as my msn email... ex: samename@msn.com, samename@gmail.com. i have a different gmail that i do use, for fucksake.

many other distressed people had similar stories as me. fuck google you corrupt fucking pigs. google bought youtube and seems to be using it to drive more people to use google. This is not uncommon; businesses do stuff like that all the time, usually its quite beneficial to everyone except their competition.. but the underhanded manner in which google is ensuring some of its users is fucking so unacceptable. its shady and manipulative. google is a GREEDY ASS BULLY and does not give 2 shits about you. every person is treated as a sheep, a potential user of its applications, and it seems shepherd google is herding its worldwide herd with fuckin tasers.
