Neal plays with Ciaran Algar and Niamh Boadle in folk band Tri. They have played at major UK Festivals as diverse as as Godiva, Warwick, Southwell, Off The Tracks, Wirral, Cleckheaton, Bromyard, Bideford, Fylde, Celtic Festival Of Wales, Off The Tracks, Barnsley, Derby Traditional, Alcester, Biddulph Folk In The Park & Bedworth .
The band played in BBC Young Folk Award 2012 Finals concert.
They now have a 14 track CD for sale from band members or from their Website

Neal also plays with Coventry based acoustic group The Fallows. The band have played Festivals like Godiva, Evesham Riverside, Napton Folk N Boat & Lechlade (Help For Heroes). They are regulars on the Coventry, Midlands and London unsigned scene.

Ross Darby has a unique, powerful vocal ability, but far from carrying the rest of the band, it compliments what is a tight and tempting sound.On first evidence, The Fallows certainly possess a raw talent, an ability to deliver sharp lyrics, combing them effortlessly with a gratifying sound - and if they resist the urge of tarring themselves with that stereotypical brush, there is a strong possibility a big and bright future lies on the horizon.

My son lives in Leixlip, so that's how i come to love irish music!
I am staggered by the CD. The maturity and ideas which carry through the whole body of the music single it out. I found myself being amazed every couple of minutes by so many different little things - a lovely choice of chord in a tune or song, an inspirational turn of phrase from the fiddle (which is consistently great anyway), or the skill and passion that Niamh displays in a song. The arrangements are inspiring. There are some pieces on the album where they have more good ideas going on in one set than others have in whole albums. Im not kidding!
