NEAL AND CIARAN ALGAR PLAY AS AN INSTRUMENTAL TRADITIONAL IRISH BASED DUO IN THE MIDLAND. THEY JOIN WITH NIMAH BOADLE TO PLAY AS Trí, WITH AN ADDED CELTIC SONG FORMAT.

In their first year the band have played at Alcester, Godiva, Warwick, Bideford, Fylde & Bedworth Festivals and Biddulph Grange Folk In The Park. You may also have seen Neal & Ciaran or NIamh playing seperately.

In 2010, the band are booked to play at Celtic Festival Of Wales, Barnsley Tender Shoots, Wirral Folk On The Coast, Cleckheaton, Warwick, Bromyard & Derby Traditional Festivals. Hope to see some of you.

Neal plays Irish style fiddle, mandolin, B/C button accordion, guitar and bodhran.

He can be seen at sessions and folk clubs in the Midlands; he plays regularly at Tamworth, Bedworth and other local clubs. He never misses the Coventry Comhaltas Tues Session at Hearsall Inn, Craven Street.

Trí are taking a break until next spring, watch out for the three in their own areas though. Festival Bookings for 2010 include Celtic Festival Of Wales & Barnsley Youth Festival in Mar, Derby In The Tradition and Wirral in Jun, Cleckheaton and Warwick in Jul, Bromyard in Sep and Derby Traditional Festivan in Oct. Yeah, I did, thanks! I've got a lot better, I can almost do ornamentations now, and I'm finding it easier and easier to do stuff by ear. Plus, I took up Irish Dancing which has improved my rhythm by about 100 times!
