@Basbekema It is what used to be used for fencing. The old number 8 wire. I found the modern high tensile fencing wire was difficult to join reliably. The wire I use is medium tensile and can be welded or brazed more reliably.
I was having trouble getting the rubber so I got moulds made by a loca...

@gargoreg I am used to this arrangement as I have been riding Ordinaries for many years. I have found the best way to bail off this type of bike is if you see a problem coming you can't avoid, jump down off the back.

@jonathanwallace I always use plastic soda bottles. Easy to tell when ready as they get firm. I have never had one burst. It takes enormous pressure to burst them and the end result would be a split bottle not glass everywhere. The screw top means you can release the pressure gradually too.

@l0bstar The tensioner in this video is a replica of a Weinmann machine I made. I found it cumbersome so I designed a new one that can be bench mounted and has a separate piece where the brazing occurs, See my other video. Sizes are correct.

Example of actual drill You-tube video "Square Hole Drill-bit" . A milling cutter such as this gives a much more precise cut than a jigsaw ever could. Especially through a thicker piece of material.
