The terminology "GREEN NIGERIA" symbolyses the dream of a new, strong and vibrant Nigeria that is socio-economically, and technologically developed to utilise it's abundant human and material resources, in a way that is both sustainable and environmentally friendly.
The term "GREEN" in Team Green Nigeria is associated with the national colours of Nigeria and signifies growth, fertility, regeneration, and rebirth for its connections to nature, and its desire to expand or increase.
The term "TEAM" signifies the collective movement towards effecting social change and economic transformation for improved development in Nigeria.
The vision for 'Team Green Nigeria Project' initiative is to bring about social, economic, and developmental transformation as well as an intellectual and cultural revival through digital technology, social media, arts and culture with a focus on volunteering, skills acquisition and enterprise development for Nigerian/African youth.
Through a series of awareness, mobilisation, and development campaigns the project aims to promote positive social, cultural, and attitudinal change for sustainable growth and development in Nigeria.
