LHBF appears to be the 'mother' of Tai Chi and was originally developed for both fighting and maintaining good health. While it is true that many elements of LHBF can be used effectively in a martial context, good health and chi development is emphasized more in modern times and on this site.

In China it is said that while water may carry a ship, it can also destroy one.
