We here at GR2U, decided that we were tired of game review magazines and websites publishing misleading reviews about games and hyping them up, only to disappoint and aggravate gamers at the time of release. We came to the conclusion that it is impossible for someone to give unbiased reviews when one is being paid or pampered with promotional items from game publishers. A lot of games in the news recently were hyped up beyond belief by game reviewers and then subsequently failed to live up to the hype. A few recent releases that were overhyped and received high rankings include Halo 3, Gears of War 2, and Killzone 2. Here at GR2U, we strive to provide unbiased reviews, as we obviously do not get paid or receive promotional items from game publishers.
