In honor of ALL FATHERS who have passed.

As you read on, you may understand why it is shared, for other children, and the impact
a Fathers Day Tribute has in the healing process
for the child in me.

My fathers 40Th death Anniversary that happens
9-12-2008, at the same time share why it is
important to
SHARE ITS MESSAGE.
Equinox :.....
( the time when the sun crosses the plane of the earths equator, making night and day of approximately EQUAL LENGTH all over the earth. The days on which an equinox falls have about EQUAL PERIODS of sunlight and darkness. )
Forty years of life, and now, Forty years of RIP. He was born in the spring and He died in the fall.
Dad came to me in a dream and encouraged me to finish a song I had started writing the day after 911. ( His 33 death Anniversary. )
On 911, I watched, live, the tragedy that unfolded across the world.
Because it was the eve of my Fathers death Anniversary, it had an OVERWHELMING impact on me personally.
Why?
Because I know what it means to be a CHILD who suddenly lost a parent, tragically.
Even though he died of a Heart Attack,
Every time I hear of a tragic event, or hear of children loosing parents,
I am reminded of how EMPTY I felt knowing I was unable to embrace him or be held or cuddle in his arms or fall asleep listening to the beat of his heart as I laid my head on his chest.
Not only was he a GOOD MAN, but an AWESOME FATHER full of love and nurture for all his children and those who came to know him as a Music Teacher.
( I SO MISS THAT HUMAN EMBRACE OF HIS! )
I was the last family member to speak to him as he walked out the door, down the steps, and drove off.
Back to his Music Store; Guitar Center, on Bass Lake Road.
( Be Good for your Mother. ) He said, as he patted me on the head, bent down with a kiss and hug goodbye.
He wasnt feeling well as he left,
telling our mother ( Its Indigestion. ) but we later discovered, he knew otherwise.
If you are a grown child who shares my emptiness, than I wish you peace in yours.
