Any reason why you went lcd over plasma? Considering plasma's 600hz vs the lcd's 60 (or 120 if there spankers). plus the clost to 0 input lag vs the lcd notorious ghosting.

What you say about resolution, is only half right, explain that 16:9 will let you see slightely more in terms of width, but slightly less in terms of height.
