I am here to share my Art with my heart....

There is so much insensitive and very brutal in this world, that may be argued and present, so that's one of the reason I share my short Art videos, but
I will also share my poem "I" (about one aborted child's word to the mother) which I wrote in 2007. I have been thinking: why have I been so cowardly? I have not dared to present this poem for fear that some will find that it is provocative or making people feel guilty. It is not to judge, blame or create a guilty conscience.
The poem was written when I was in an artistic process, painting spontaneously to classical music. In one of the pictures grew desperate faces forward, and to reinforce the pain I experienced, I sprinkled red colour in the image, and in that, I saw the shape of a fetus, as I clairfied. The picture was on the table beside me, when I wrote the poem.
I had planned to write about my process and had no view of the abortion issue. Words unconsciously grew up and when I saw what it was about, I was touched and started to cry. The only adjustment I made, was "weaving in" facts. If this poem can be helpful and avoid an abortion, it has served its purpose.

The poem "I":

500 000 whipping tails up-wells,
against the egg, the greatest of all human cells.
A small spacecraft heading towards a huge planet,
what happens in the conception moment,
no one will know.

Deep in the belly,
protected from the depths,
a thread spun by chemical memory.
Aware that life springs eternal, the rush, heats and hurries.
It vibrates and sways so nice when you go, feel the vibration in my newly formed toes.

After four weeks, my heart starts beeting, although I am not bigger than a walnut then.
I, a man takes shape.
Riddle of life is huge!

I heard your voice and your heartbeat,
it was stored in my memory, for each new day. I, a little girl, after five weeks I've already have one million eggs inside of me.

Here is so wonderful and warm,
suddenly everything becomes dark and cold. I left to die in a stainless steal pot,
worthless as a puny little rat.
Was this all?

I never felt the heat from your chest,
when I was hungry or sought comfort.
You never saw when I learned to crawl or walk,
I had laughed and you had smiled at me.

Mommy, why you cut off my life?
You were healthy, you had no HIV!
Was the carrier more important than me?
Or was I just an unwanted child,
a mistake commited by you?

Why did I not have a chance like others?
To feel the love and also pain,
on earth to live, grow and migrate.
Now I'm in a place where it is warm and nice, where the sun is shining and it is always green and light.
Yes, there is a place in heaven for such as me, but mom, in my heart I yearn for you!

It's a great miracle when a new life begins. After only six weeks makes the female embryo ready to become a mother, by developing egg cells for future children. In a single cell, is around six billion DNA step, fits the entire job description as needed to build up an individual. Scientists have been able to produce life's elements, but not life itself. In a four week embryo is a little heart beating....

Celebrate life!

I wonder: what would happened if all men (who don't want a child) did not have sex without protection?
I wish that I could say to the Pope: Create a new law! Women deserve better than abortion!




One of my greatest female role models in art history is Käthe Kollwitz, German artist, 1865-1945. She highlighted the poor and oppressed, women and children suffer, in a wonderfully tender and emotional way. Käthe Kollwitz was a great champion of peace and, unfortunately, she died not herself experience the peace, she died a short time before.
Her art was banned by the Nazis.
Käthe Kollwitz leave great art to humanity, art that always is current. Art that tells and concern! Art that makes us Never Forget!

In your hand, sister,
I have wandered through misery the endless winding alleys.
With you, I have come through the gates of trouble, poverty climbing stairs, and served as guest in cool musty huts. I have met people in your world and interpreted their faces confession.
On the men's forehead, I found this sign: hatred. On women: humiliation. Children: crying.

And you - you taught me with burning heart, love all this, affirm suffering beauty and still hate,
to my last breath to hate - its cause.

Let us continue the struggle for justice and peace on earth!
