Our country was never based on this type of action but then again we hung women for being witches. Our politiciaans do insider trading in the stock exchange gaining 600% more than anyone else yet they arrest someone for dancing I say there is definately something wrong here.

first off if its a rare gibson you wont do this as your value drops. Next the grooves you create also allow moisture and sweat into the neck and can eventually deteriorate the neck. a better choice would be use 1500 grit emery and wet sand then polish back up. Then use a good resin to slick it up...
