Gateway Championship Wrestling was an independent wrestling promotion based out of St. Louis that ran from 2000 to late 2006. During its run GCW won the Strangleholds yearly award for best local promotion 6 years in a row from 2000-2005. Many local stars began their careers with Gateway such as ROH star and head trainer Delirious, Shimmers womens champion MsChif, IWA-Mid South heavyweight champion Dingo and WWEs high flyer Matt Sydal Aka Evan Bourne.

Since the companies closer in 2006 many St. Louis and Illinois fans still today talk about their favorite GCW shows and past matches. Ive created the GCW tribute page for those fans so they can look back and relive some of their favorite GCW matches and pay respect to those who put it all on the line every night for you the fans.
