About this user

My ambition is to recover and display relics from our nation's history. I enjoy finding old coins and Civil War relics with a metal detector. I go all out to educate individuals about the Civil War and the importance of the heritage of those who lived and fought for what they believed was right.

I hunt using primarily products made by White's and all of my digging tools are made by Lesche. My detector is a White's MXT. Although I have used pretty much every popular detector on the market, including the Tejon and the F75, I keep coming back to the MXT. You cannot beat the quality and customer service that White's gives to their customers. My finds have been featured multiple times in White's media and in American Digger Magazine.

I am a Baptist Minister, currently serving as the Pastor at New Hope North Baptist Church in Summerville GA, I am also the former Chaplain for Chattooga Camp 507 of Son's of Confederate Veterans in Chattooga County.

Not all of our hunts will be successful and not every target will be something worth keeping - you will see it all, or at least as much as I can upload (Youtube limits each file to 10 minutes). From time to time I will feature some of my diggin' buddies as well as my daughters.

When detecting always remember, no site is ever hunted out, because.....when you fish, you never catch them all!!! If you have an area that you think would make a good episode of GA dirtfishin' feel free to contact me and we will arrange a hunt.
