Have no interest in politics, debate, religious dogma, or sophomoric social philosophies, life on this plane is too brief to waste on ego. Learn, and keep your silence, a most difficult directive for the young. Never give advice, and give opinion only when asked, and realize the cosmos judges you with absolute indifference. Your convictions are your limitations, therefore be open to the voice of the fool as well as that of the wise man. The fool is wise in his own eyes, and the truly wise is a fool in his own eyes. No man is wise enough to know the truth beyond that which he has at each moment. You know not from whence you came, nor do you know that which is concealed by the veil of eternity, and you cannot be taught it, you can only learn it. Give praise when it's appropriate and temper all criticism with love.
