About this user

Some have referred to me as a horse whisperer or healer. There are no particular qualifications for what I do - I just work instinctively whilst using an approach that I have developed through my experience of working with horses and horsemanship experts over the years. My credentials in the equine field are the testimonials and editorials which horse owners and journalists have provided.

I am often asked how it works. Broadly speaking, I mirror physiological and psychological symptoms within a horse. I naturally work with this technique when I am training, helping owners to improve their working relationship with their horse and when I am treating certain conditions. I do work with other animals, and also people, but horses are my main focus.

Good horsemanship is about building a partnership with your horse that is based on trust, respect and understanding, and which closely resembles the relationship that exists between horses. Patience and a desire to communicate with your horse will invariably create a better environment in which you can build a strong relationship with each other. This preventative approach is key to your horse's wellbeing.

During my time with horses I have worked with many professionals in the field, be they vets, trainers, therapists, farriers, bare foot trimmers or nutritionists. Each of these professionals play an important and complementary role in the overall care of a horse.
