@ThatOneGuy77is14 It is on some tracks on their CD, Beethoven's Last Night. After he strikes a deal with Beethoven, Mephistopheles leaves and gives him one hour to consider it. Most of the songs with that garbling on it are set in this timeframe.

@55metalmonkey It is, if you use it wisely. Perhaps for larger families, yes, 60-80k per year doesn't leave enormous wiggle room, but the average person can live comfortably on it. I myself could easily live my life on that salary.

We're lucky to have this beautiful song, sung to us by a truly angelic woman. So many great songs from this era have vanished into Time immemorial, since, at the time they were written, musical notation did not exist. She is saving the songs that do, and spectacularly so.
