What's funny is that we consider this old school gospel. I was very heavily involved in gospel music when this came out the early 80s. It was considered cutting edge and contemporary at the time. Every choir in the DC area was doing this song.

I first heard this song back in 1991, and as a worship leader, sang it for several years. I have to say, that this song moves me today the same as the first day I heard it. Powerful. Just thinking about Jesus' resurrection is overwhelming.
