The Jena FullDome Festival offers a platform to present latest works for fulldome theaters like planetariums each year in spring. The core of the Festival is the Student's Night, where students enrolled at Universities inside and outside Germany present their fulldome pieces. Other Festival categories are "Fulldome short films", "Full-length feature shows" (each even year), special programs and the FullDome Festival Gala. Best contributions are awarded with prize money and Honorable Mentions.
