Manny Manolo: Since 2005, Harlem World Native, Manny Manolo has dominated the underground Hip Hop scene and set trends for the young generation at the same time sending a message to the older generation. Now in 2011, he personifies the "American Dream." Co-Founder and artist of Fulafek Entertainment, Manolo also produces and song write for many local talent. Manny Manolo was born and raised in the notorious Harlem of Uptown New York City. Born to family of nine kids, Manny always wanbted to spot light. From being a pest to his older and younger siblings, to lip-sinking "I Believe I Can Fly" while his mom records his enthusiatic performance on tape. Manny began writing poetry and short stories at the age of 8. The love of music combined with the passion for writing, Manny began to write raps. It wasn't until 2004 when Manny Manolo decided to take music seriously. At an early age, life in Harlem caused young Manny to see life for what it was and not for what "people try to "brainwaste" him to think. Due to the rough streets of New York City, Manolo's mom decided to move away for a better future.
NY 2 DC: Worlds collided when Manny entered the DC scene and met up with Don Earn and Solo Bound through a local program called Crushed I.C.E. Crushed I.C.E. (Individualized Creative Expression), a group of at least ten high school students, promoted positive and conscience Hip Hop with creativity and originality. Manny began recording music for the first time and developing his style by age 15.
By the age of 16, Manny Manolo (Manny Cash at the time), Don EARN, and Solo Bound began performing at local venues throughout the DC metropolitan area. In 2006, with the addition of Suavé (Manny Manolo's older brother) Crushed I.C.E. evolved into Fulafek. The exchange of music began and the collaboration of Fulafek's New York and Washington DC's artist started its takeover of the DC Hip Hop scene. In 2009, Fulafek teamed up with DC native Big Steve from Imperial ERntertainment. In the summer of 2009, the artist created the classic mixtape "Fulafek & Imperial Entertainment Presents: NY 2 DC - It's an Uptown Thing" which can be downloaded for FR33!! Their individual sounds intertwine seamlessly on every track breathing new life into well known songs, and creating new sounds on original beats. Currently the Manny Manolo is working to bring notoriety and sophistication to his hometown and to the Hip Hop nation as well. Fulafek was once a crew. Fulafek was once a Hip Hop group. Fulafek has now evolved into something much bigger than anything imaginable. "Fulafek is everything the game is missing".
