Fresh Start Surgical Gifts provides free reconstructive surgery and related medical services to disadvantaged children and young people with physical deformities caused by birth defects, accidents, abuse, or disease. Services including surgery, dental procedures, laser therapy, and speech clinics are provided in San Diego, California by all volunteer teams of surgeons and medical professionals. Surgery and services are available to children from the U.S. and abroad.

Some of the conditions treated include: Microtia, Hemangioma, Dog Bites, Hairy Nevus, Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate, Treacher Collins Syndrome, Portwine Stains, and Burn Traumas.
