liked what you're doing here. i've subbed. emailed giroux a while back. nice man. lots of important things to say... i've lived a life replete with many ideas critical pedagogy talks about. my life is my understanding of your work. my story is THE example of your work. critical pedagogy needs a biography from the INSIDE. a child who had the thoughts he later found out were called CRITICAL PEDAGOGY. i have that. it's important for me to tell the story about a boy becoming a man becoming a human being alive with conscience, ready to engage with society in some meaningful way. isn't that what freire wanted? what you guys talk about all the time? i don't have a Ph.D. but i have a critical mind. come by. The playlist is "Black Boy Becoming a Man in America". Another playlist, "OIL(Black and Liquid in Modernity) introduces Zygmunt Bauman's work to my ideals... come by and offer your thoughts.

Freire, Giroux, McLaren and the other critical theorists changed my life. I am pleased to see this site up on YouTube.

Where's part 6 of the Giroux-Kinchloe interview?
