Freedom was born on the beaches of Kaneohe, Hawaii in the Spring of 2005. Navy Diver and devoted surfer, Nathan Carl had a personal dream of getting underground athletes recognized for their abilities. Nathan's passion for photography gave him the opportunity to document these individuals. The team originated by getting his closest friends involved. The Freedom team now includes a group of athletes, artists and photographers sharing similar passions: faith, surfing, photography, cinematography, volunteering and globe-trotting. Nathan's "Deep Sea" brother's have been ultra-supportive since day one by helping spread the trademarked "Freedom Eagle" around the world. The Freedom brand of unique clothing designs continue to be worn by an unstoppable multitude.

Freedom is driven by the passion of the staff. Freedom's goal is to reinforce our clients stoke by capturing their moment whether it's in the water or on the shore. Freedom Riding Company strives to produce the highest quality imagery for our customers, and assuring the final product exceeds customer gratification.

Since 2005
From the beginning on the beaches in Hawaii, to traveling and filming venues around the globe: Australia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Fiji, Guatemala and Mexico. The photography, and relationships developed and strengthened the team. Freedom united ideas, further amplifying the foundation of the company. Freedom continuously strives to inspire others to follow in their hopes and aspirations.

In December 2007, Freedom partnered with AccesSurf which, the staff states as being "an absolute blessing." Recently Freedom has rallied with the Wounded Warrior Project. The project is to help injured/disabled vets reunite with the ocean again.

Freedom Riding Company is currently rooted in Hawaii. Freedom photographers are available to shoot in water, on land, night or day, and at any event. Our camera gear and services include the following:
