About this user

Free Again is a wildlife rehabilitation center located in Carterville, Illinois. Beverly Shofstall has been operating the rehab for over 20 years, and it's continually growing. All native animal species are taken in, including white-tailed deer, opossums, squirrels, raccoons, bobcats, many songbirds, hawks, owls, eagles, foxes, and many, many more. Some are orphans being fostered, others are victims of roads or unfortunate accidents requiring medical care.

Free Again is entirely volunteer-run and is dependent on the public and fundraisers for funding, as it receives no government money. Educational birds-of-prey and other programs are given throughout the area to raise awareness on wildlife and raise money to feed the animals and keep them comfortable.
