I've recently hit a snag. All of a sudden my efforts sounded like crap, all distorted and garbled. Me thinks I need a new cartridge for my turntable which I'm waiting to arrive any day now. I even uploaded a song and had to delete it because it just didn't sound right. So, I won't be able to upload anything til I get this problem sorted out.

I finally succeeded in uploading the complete Ballad Medley by the Gene Krupa Sextet. This is a fairly long piece (over 12 minutes) but it is worth the time as it's some of the best jazz you will have the pleasure of hearing. Previously the only way I could manage to get it on here is to break it into separate songs. I was never satisfied with the result. I hope you enjoy it as much I do.

I just uploaded a new copy of Duke Ellingtons "Take The A Train" with vocals by Betty Roache. This record has NEVER BEEN PLAYED until I recorded this upload so if you want to hear what a brand new nearly 60 year old record sounds like, give it a listen. You can hear Paul Gansalves breathing as he's playing the Sax near the end. I'd love to read your comments.

I just uploaded a much better copy of "Georgia on my Mind" by David Bromberg. The old copy was created on a jumky turntable with junky itunes software. This new version comes alive. I will be re-doing several of the songs I did when I first started with youtube.

What's great about YT is the unusual, almost quirky, tastes folks have for a variety of musical forms. Thanks for your passion and time, it adds to the collective total!
