I noticed a few more humming birds than a normal winter day; I replace the nectar weekly and rotate the feeder during freezing weather. This is the sequel to http://youtu.be/d... I shot a few years ago.
This is an Anna's hummingbird. There are resident, non-migratory population of Anna's up here from the Portland Oregon area up-into the Puget Sound area and even up into B.C. in lesser numbers. They are tough birds that are capable of withstanding cold temps.

In the second installment in our Maine Narrow Gauge Collection, Black 5 Video takes you to the woods of Franklin County, Maine to visit the last remnant of the once mighty Sandy River and Rangeley Lakes Railroad. Originally abandoned in 1935, 3/4 of a mile of track was put back down on the original road bed in the 1970&aposs and is now operated as the Sandy River and Rangeley Lakes Railroad Park in Phillips, Maine. Enjoy a day in the life of this charming little railroad whose lack of mileage is made up by its abundance of character.
