Thanks for taking the time to put this together, one point if you do any other of these, make mention of the socket/wrench sizes, also any torque specs required for re-assembly

I have the same Dryer, sounds as tho you have a bearing going south... Sounds worse than it really is. there is you tube vid on how to remove the front and top cover, You may be able to isolate the noise after the covers are off.
