I saw EPMD, Jazzy Jeff, Salt n Pepa, Public Enemy, and Run DMC back in the day. My buddy and I were probably the only white guys there. That was when rap was GOLDEN. Never had a problem with the crowd. Good music brings us all together! Long live the 80's!!!

I'm 40. IMO, We are the last generation to actually get IT. It being life, morals, hard work, etc.

This new generation will be running the world when we are Seniors. I try to teach my Daughter the way I was brought up, but she don't get it. Scary times ahead my friend.

WOW! Steady B and Tat Money! That brings back some memories. OOH OOH! This white guy knew where the jams were in the 90's.

Man Ron C was one of the most underrated rap stars of the 80's-early 90's, along with Cool C and Audio two.

Not many white kids rocked this out in the 80's. I was one of 'em.

I knew they were political, but I like evryone. These guys flat out jammed!

I would throw this in my dual cassette deck and "mix" this song. Man, 6th grade seems like an eternity ago!

They toured with DMC back in the day. They came to my hometown, Louisville, and they had chicks dancing in cages and this HUGE phallic symbol come out the stage. Yeah, it made the 11 o' clock news. Parents freaking out.
