My Life:

...I was born in Cape Town on Wednesday 12th September 1956 at 7:30 am in a small hospital on Table Mountain, a very much wanted and loved second son to my mother and father (aged 43 years, a maternity sister , father was taken at 59 years old), who heard church bells ringing.
...My mother's father was a Guy's MD at London from Lancashire, who emigrated to South Africa and worked as the General Practitioner in Bedford, Eastern Cape, where he had the hospital built.
...He married a Ross, whose ancestor, William trained with Dr David Livingstone and both men went out, as missionaries to Southern Africa.
...My own father, Francis John Bush had died of an heart attack when I was only 3 months conceived (Grand-father a master baker and lay preacher from King's Lynn, Norfolk).
...He had fought on the Somme as a young man in the Royal Norfolks and then went out to the Gold Coast (Ghana) to run the railways there.
...My mother was left alone with my brother, aged three and an half years, and myself.
...My bother, Keith, is now a sports injuries consultant in Harley Street, London.
...Mutual friends brought my mother and step-father together. They were very happily married for 39 years. He was a very fine , gentle, man, an analytical chemist.
...We lived for 9 years in South Africa, Durban, my brother and myself going to Marist Brothers' School.
...Moving back to England in 1966, where I went to Belmont and Mill Hill Schools, London (1967-1974).
...For the next 6 years I was in the Medical World, having passed my first year exams at Bristol University with flying colours to become a doctor , but choose not to continue my studies and then worked in several London hospitals.
...I moved into the computer world for the next 15/16 years, running my own little computer company for 8 years.
...I was married on Thursday 12th September 1991, my son, Robert Francis was born on Thursday 12th November 1992, we were separated by January 1994 and divorced by May 1996.
...My former wife has made it impossible for any contact at all for my son with his father and his father's family.

My Faith

...My family were not a strongly, religiously, practising one, but my mother, especially had a very strong faith of the Protestant tradition.
...I can hear God calling me when I was about 14/15 years old, but not really strongly to Himself until the broken marriage.
...I came very close to becoming a priest at the Anglican Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Albans in 1996, but found that I could not join with the hypocrisy within 'The Church'.
...My pilgrimmage around the World started from those times.
...I have choosen, ever more fully, as with Job, to turn to God.
