Franciska is a motion graphics and video editor, videographer, yoga teacher, artist, dancer and founder of Work in Progress Productions. She received her BFA in illustration with a concentration in video from the Maryland Institute College of Art, 2002. From 2004 to 2008, she worked exclusively with Baltimore and New York-based production companies. Franciska has been creating videos and graphics for non-profits, artists, musicians, and other production companies. In 2008 she co-founded The Library, a multi-use art, video, and yoga space. Currently, she works as full-time Multi-Media Graphics/Editor at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and continues to freelance and collaborate on video projects locally and nationally.

Franciska freelanced as a decorative painter for Thomas Moore Studios and contributed to the restoration of several historic buildings in Baltimore.
Her personal work is based in video, dance and performance. She has been teaching yoga for seven years and completed her first training at Charm City Yoga (Baltimore, MD 2002). Her second training was through the Sivananda Ashram (Woodbourne, New York 2004). Continuing in the tradition of yoga and holistic health, she studied Thai Yoga Bodywork and Ayurveda training through the Lotus Palm School (Montreal 2006). She is currently studying with Arte Flamenco.
