Greetings all and welcome to my channel! For those who are interested, here's the bio:
"Foxy Moxy" is a burlesque and cabaret performer based in North Carolina's Piedmont Triad Region (Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point). Ms. Moxy is known best for her imaginitive, original modern burlesque acts and engaging personality onstage. Performances include singing (both originals & covers), dancing, stripteasin', high-high heels and red-hot wheels!
She is also the founder of her own troupe, "Cabaret Risque", formed in 2007. She has performed as a soloist in venues from NY to New Orleans and gigs frequently in and around the Carolinas.
She has been a past SproutFund Arts Grant (Pgh, PA) recipient to produce burlesque and a producer/performer at the Greensboro Fringe Theatre Festival in both 2007 and 2008.
As "Foxy Moxy", she is the author of a published monthly happenings column, "OutFOXin'theTriad" in The Piedmont Triad HIPPO Magazine. She also hosts a franchise of "Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School", a burlesque life-drawing monthly sketch session/game show for artists.
Along with her partner, Scott Fray, she is a notable US bodypainting artist and co-founder of "The American Body Arts Festival", an annual event located in upstate NY.
Foxy Moxy is a truly passionate proponent of modern burlesque for both it's pure entertainment value and it's stronger underlying message of feminine empowerment, including: body-image acceptance, issues with sexual stereotypes and calling into question our societal and personal standards of beauty.
