Name: Old Fort Parker
I have stood on this site since 1834, witness to the conflict between settlers looking for a new life and indigenous peoples protecting their territory and way of life.

I have deteriorated to but a pile of rotten lumber on more than one occasion, only to be raised again to stand proudly over these grounds.

Today I play host to many peoples, seeking a taste of the past they will never truly know, and am still home to the spirits of the people that once lived within and outside of my walls.
