Yes..she did chose the wrong man..but I guess that's what love does to you, right? Love really makes blind.
And I really don't blame Whitney for her mistakes..I have made mistakes too..didn't do drugs..but my point is..nobody is perfect. Btw..I hope you will post more videos. You have a lot of performances of her, don't you?

Well yes, I agree. Of course it was a big waste of money. But, we can't forget she was sick. She was doing drugs from 1991. And a lot of people treated her so bad! Some people she was close to, so called fans and the media. I watched her memorial service yesterday and a lot of people who were close to her talked about her. She was an insecure girl, she always was afraid the things she did weren't good enough, and she always gave us her best and everything. Still..that wasn't enough for some..that makes me so sad. And than you have the marriage to Bobby Brown. He got her into this mess, and he even physically abused her. A big part of her was just so unhappy. And when she came back, a lot of people didn't like her anymore because of her changed voice. I think she would never do that to other people and she was very unhappy about that. Real fans stay with her, no matter what happens. I would never walk away from a concert from her. How are you holding up btw?

Were you able to watch the memoriam service for Whitney tonight?
Dutchmusicfan1992 (3 weeks ago)
I totally agree. If she stayed happy and healthy..well I don't know how big of a star she would have been. I mean, she sold over 170 million records with 6 studioalbums, 5 compilations, 2 soundtrack albums and 5 boxsets (only 2 of them are well known). And the 2 videoclip collections plus a few dvd's. That is huge. There is no other artist that could have sold that many records, with that amount of popular material.

Your voice touches a certain part of my soul Whitney. RIP..
Dutchmusicfan1992 (3 weeks ago)
Wel yes..I think you're right about her and Bobby.
And the media and a lot of ''fans'' were so hard on her voice..even back then. And She really had the best voice there ever was until 2002, not until 1990 or 1992. After 2002 it got bad. She did come back in 2004, and after that..well..who knows what happened. But I mean..the My Love of Your Love album and tour..that voice..no one will be able to do that, ever! Just Whitney was good too, not as good as MLYL but still the best voice. I Look to You was a different voice..but I stil loved it..and the songs as well.

And I also think she couldn't handle the pressure. I think Whitney is not the kind of woman to make that many cd's in that many years, forced by a contract. I also think she didn't want to do all those world tours. Deep down, she liked to keep it simple. Also, she loved Bobby Brown a lot and I think she was very disappointed about how things ended. She pictures another life for her and her family. And she got a lot of criticism, even when she was at her best..something I really don't understand.
