Thank You as well. I wish I was able to make the Coast Guard a Career, however I did not. I did have men under me that refused to follow orders, told me I earned my rank on my knees or my back, because I was a young officer. However I never once backed down. Being a female in command I found was difficult, but mostly I did have respect. My oldest Brother just retired from the Corps. He is a Sgt. Mag. My Cousins and younger brother are both Lanc. Cpls. My Dad is is retired Mast. Gunny. My older cousin is a DI at PI. My BF was also out on a medical he is Sgt. I will say this I have been called a puddle pirate, and have gone fistdicuffs with some one, the proceeded to say your welcome. Better known as farm girls gone wild...lol.
