I love his exchanges with Shirley.

This guy talks too fast. The WBC people make more sense than he does. He sounds afraid of them.

Also - They don't always look so reluctant and lethargic when they perform. This song calls for and creates a grim, downer mood laced with thick sexy syrup. I think their demeanor as a band is appropriate and adds to the performance.

The last minute or so of this song makes my eyes well sometimes. There's a lot of my past in those lines and they're so beautifully sung.

There's actually something kind of sweet in his rendition of this song.

They were seniors in high school. Give them a break. I think they did a remarkable job overall. There's such a thing as constructive criticism, you know? Why not put it to use and motivate the artists to do a better job next time instead of simply shitting on their work?

I like how the male alien costume has a huge green triangle outline and the female alien costume has a smaller pink triangle outline. Don't nothin' ever change?

I love how awkwardly the knight moves. I mean, I know it's wearing a suit of armor, but it's still funny. He can never get a clean shot at the kid.

I love how caricatured these characters are. The whole episode is laid out like a comic book. It's funny and thrilling, like an old Tales From the Crypt issue. The writers did a good job with it. They threw in many elements of the genre.

I think Ricky is entirely in his head. He is a figment of Mike's subconscious.

If someone had brought headlights to this show, Calvin would have been the doe on the lonely highway.

I like the way they do this song at this gig. It's much slower than on "You Turn Me On" and there's less jangle in the guitar. It feels cozier and more intimate and puts more emphasis on the lyrics. I'm not sure if Heather or Calvin wrote the words to this one. They're really good either way.

Calvin is one of the most fun people I've met. He just loves everything about what he does. That's a rare and awesome thing.
