Nova Schola Gregoriana, director: Alberto Turco

    Fontem1 Fontem1 commented:

An English translation of the Crux Fidelis with notation has been provided among the resources of the new translation of the Mass on the ICEL website. It is a very beautiful strophic hymn that should realy be sung more. It is not real plainchant, however. If you take the notes and sing it with so...

Civilization 4 Soundtrack: Media Vita (Part 2)

    Music by John Sheppard.

Look at how much I pushed the time limit with this video, mhmm~

    Fontem1 Fontem1 commented:

You should hear the recording of this piece by the Brit choir 'Stile Antico'released a year ago. Each time they sing 'Holy God, Holy and Strong, Holy Immortal one' they give it a different flavour - searching, confident, sorrowful, majestic. Amaaaaaaazing. Fold your arms, close your eyes, push b...

The Late Show - Guest Arguments

Various disagreements between guests on the Late Show which was broadcast on BBC2 between 1989 and 1995.

The clip includes Toby Young, Jon Savage ...

    Fontem1 Fontem1 commented:

@constanzavictrix I remember the show with Miller and Gillick well. Miller was supporting an artist who was putting tiny aborted foetuses into earrings, which is why Gillick was talking about 'empathy'. I think Gillick had a point.

    Alastair Cook and Ian Bell

Alastair Cook and Ian Bell. England's young batsmen in Perth during 2006 Ashes.

    Fontem1 Fontem1 commented:

Read through these comments. A good potted history of the collapse in confidence of the Aussie supporters in that time. Some people actually called it right three years ago. These batsmen HAVE come good.
