This guy found a mysterious cave and wants to explore it. We have to find four more people to come with us, so we go and comb the beach for our friends. Once inside, we find a treasure chest, and come across our first battle. I don't know what the heck I was attacking with. It looked like magic, but I wanted to use my weapons instead. After that, we find that the treasure was just a set of pinecones.

This is the beginning of the game, where everything is going right and Ryu is living happily in some town or another. Yua, your sister, runs to the Back Mountain to see the Dragon that is sleeping there. She wants to take a nap at that location because her mother enters her dreams. We hear some history about the dragon, and Ganer goes back to the village with Yua. You close your eyes, and see a weird eye... That's when everything changes.

When you reach the town where you live with your family, your family is nowhere to be found, and none of the villagers recognize you. That old man even goes so far as to call you a thief. What a jerk.

You go to the church where you were supposed to live, but you don't find your father. Instead there is some guy named Father Hulk there. He welcomes you anyway, and allows you to take a bed for the night.

While up there, you observe a dude named Bow stealing a candle. I decide that there is nothing left for me and go with him to a better town. First, remember to get the TreePole. Don't bother trying the doors to other houses, they're all locked. Once you get outside, it starts raining; how ominous. Go to the nearby cave.

We reach the cave only to find that it is Pitch black inside. Bow remembers the Candle he swiped, and I wonder how he lit it. We see some sort of... thing in the cave, and Bow wants to follow it for some reason. I guess it is because he is a kid. We follow it, only to find a monster at the other end. Barubary is an extremely powerful monster. He takes Ryu down in one blow. We have no chance of defeating him. Then we see some sort of inner reflection on this event, and it becomes just another nightmare. The title screen appears, to remind you of the name of the game.

All right, now for something completely different. After over a year of playing nothing but RPGs, it is time for The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past. Please excuse my suckage at this game. It has been a pretty long while for me. I also know that many other people have played this. I don't care. The one thing I will try for is no deaths. I don't know how that will work out for me, but I will do my best.

The story is classic and quite familiar. In the Kingdom of Hyrule, there was a mystical "Golden Power" hidden in a land created by the gods. People desired it, and killed each other for it. Finally, a set of seven Wise Men sealed the entrances to the mysterious land. After a few hundred years, these events became legend.

In the present though, a mysterious wizard appears that solves all of the kingdom's problems with his strange magic. He becomes an adviser to the king and is quite trusted. However, he does away with the King of Hyrule and starts to rule over the land with an iron fist. He is trying to eliminate the seal on the Golden Land...

With that, we have to go and save Princess Zelda from the dungeon of the castle. It isn't too hard. If you take too long in finding the secret entrance under the bush, the Princess will tell you about it. Apparently your Uncle also knew about it, though I don't know what took him out of the game... Take the sword and shield anyway though. As far as challenge goes, this place isn't that bad.

So here we go. We go through the Sewers and find the Old Man. He tells us about the Master Sword. We have to find Sahasrahla. He happens to be in the far east though. He tells us about the Pendent of Courage, and we enter the Palace of Courage. I don't think that is the real name, but I can't remember what it is called.

In Kakariko Village, we find an Empty Bottle and the Bug Catching Net.

I think that is the official name of this place. As far as dungeons go, it isn't that hard to do. The Treasure from this dungeon is the Bow. It makes it easier for you to go and defeat armored enemies. This is good, since we will be seeing a lot of armored enemies. The boss of this place is a set of six Armos Knights. Hit them with arrows and they will go down pretty easily. It takes three arrows to destroy one of them. Once you have only one left, the last one will turn red and begin to hop around in an attempt to crush you.
