Any complications with putting everything back together?
The guy is Zulf, the girl is Zia.
This is just a publicity stunt, and an attempt to be the new "Friday." Chill your balls, everyone.
Very very good. One piece of criticism I'd offer is to adjust the velocity on each piano note to make it more human. Sounds very sequenced atm. Great work, though.
You seriously don't eq your drums at all?
That may be true of this song, one of my worst and oldest. But check my newest one, or any other popular dubstep song by anyone. It isn't fair to make a sweeping generalization about a genre based on one song.
The screen is moving, but you should listen to my new song "Prometheus" haha it's way better.
What build of Dolphin are you using?
Great tut! Can we get a detailed video on Alligator Filter Gate?
Nothing in particular, I just didn't really know what it was useful for and thought that I must be missing something. I actually have lately been getting into crazy CV routing and stuff, and if the step sequencer doesn't do anything that CV routing won't, then I suppose you shouldn't make a tut.
Very well done tutorial. I've been working with envelopes for quite a while, but I now I understand exactly what Attack, Decay, Sustain, and Release actually do as opposed to just fucking around with it until it sounds good. Keep it up, man :)
I love Pulsar, but why do sounds made in it clip so much, even though they don't sound very loud?
Dat alberti bass.
This isn't a subgenre of dubstep at all; it's complextro. And I like Skrillex as well as the artists you listed. It's ok to like everything.
More accurately: Complextro... 128 bpm dubstep with a 4 to the floor beat.
I still do, because, regardless, they make badass softsynths.
