The only thing wrong with this video is that clown who wouldn't let her respond to questions. Sometimes announcers don't know when to SHUT UP. As usual, Jackie was beyond belief.

After hearing and seeing Jackie for a year I thought I'd be all calmed down but I was WRONG....she still evokes awe and wonder in me like no other performer I've seen/heard in my life. She just glows when she's in front of a large audience. I'm STILL astonished.

@Jetpack1973 ..What colossal ignorance of history. The US Army kicked the hell out of the VC and the NVA every time they met.....the scrofulous politicians in Washington, mainly Lyndon Johnson and Robert McNamara lost the war.

Wynton Marsalis used to carry Maurice Andre's instrument around for him. Andre made this piece sound almost leisurely and unhurried and didn't drop any notes.

My opinion again........GREAT march, one of the best... BRAVO !

As a singer, Armstrong was a pretty good trumpet player.

She's great in this small place but it's in front of a large audience that she lights up from within and glows. I think she's perfect.

What a delightful ode to a tree......Handel must be smiling along with John Muir. On the off chance that Xerxes is still somwhere, maybe he is too.

How her breath control has improved !....notice how long she sustains the last short phrase. I have to concur with some who posted here.....low rent crowd. Jackie classed up the place.

What a great sound his orchestra had. Very distinctive and instantly identifiable.

I played the saxophone when I was in the band at school and I must have whiled away a million hours playing along with Billy Vaughn's recordings. It's too bad we don't hear his music any more except on YouTube.

I've enjoyed the music of Billy Vaughn for a long time and it doesn't seem to grow old, just better.

I can only remember the person to whom the first place award was given because he was on the same show with Jackie. Jackie has turned out to be the REAL winner. I love this little girl.

I'm a crusty old guy who has been around the block plenty of times and I'm astonished that such powerful emotions can be wrung from me the way she does. I wonder if she's aware of the way she makes people feel. I know the term "angel" has been worked to death in attempts to describe Jackie....b...

It's not uncommon to hear American troops singing this tune, especially if their unit has a high percentage of Irish-Americans. It's a lively, spirited song that makes the blood circulate a little faster. I might point out that we don't conciously think "Irish-American".....they're just plain...

Jackie is the perfect confluence of several factors.....She's a beautiful little blue-eyed blonde girl who has such innocence about her and such poise and purity.......her voice sounds like it's from the heavens, so crystal clear and pure......she has perfect pitch.... she has a wonderful persona...

I like the version that was on AGT when she was wearing that beautiful blue gown. The back-lighting that highlighted her hair and the fog generator made her to appear to be standing on clouds as she sang.....fantastic.

Can't you imagine how much she must enjoy wearing all those beautiful dresses and gowns?

@franklywright ...Oh come on and loosen your bolts a little and let them enjoy themselves, vacuous or not. I played in a Dixieland jazz band in college but I enjoy this too....and I still think The Dukes of Dixieland are the greatest.
