This was Figueroa's climax to his career, in becoming the first puertorrican to win 20 games in a season. It was all downhill for him after that, mostly due to arm injuries which rendered him ineffective in 1979 and 1980.

Wow, this is a great find - I love the song. Never in a million years would I have guessed that JPJ came up with the riff and Pagey was learning it from him.
