Hey thanks for the compliments, even tho I have not been working on my calfs on a regular bases. I need to tho so I can tone them up to. check out the new leg press video on here. First I wanted to max out and just see how heavy I can go but when i started working out I knew maxing out would just make me tired for the rest of my workout. This way I got a lot more out of doing a drop set for my workout which was insane. My legs are still numb I believe tomorrow is when the pain will kick in.

good idea for the donkey calf raises amazing :D
and also u have great calves!! :D
arcticnova4ever (5 months ago)
thanks :) i will try these and work a lot more on my abs they are fine already but we always want more dont we? :D take care and keep in touch for the calf video bye for now :)
FitnessTrance (6 months ago)
And arcticnova4ever your info is correct just as long as you stretch as far as you can with your heels and than pick your self up as far as you can on your toes u are doing it right, and remember to focus on the muscle and flex it each time!
and our lower abs ha ha where do i start. I believe there the toughest to train.
I do a lot of leg lifts, leg raises, Hip flexor's, Planks and Stomach Vacuums, and honestly no matter how much you hit the area if you are not eating clean and do cardio your always going to have a thicker layer of skin there. Just hit abs every day or every 2 days 200 to 300 reps and do your cardio try to clean up your diat more and you will get them.

Thank you Brent! im trying to get them some what descent. Thank you for letting me know where my Serbian side took over my brain and i spell like I would in my country!

yeah your quads seem really strong to be able to press that much :)
how long have u been training? i have been since 3 years and feeling great already :D
so ok i would like to see how is your donkey standing calf raises i guess different feet position trains different parts like inner feet for the outer gastrocnemius outer feet for the inner parts and regular just both. or is it another idea u know about?
just wondering if i incline myself a bit down on the standing calf raises does that train the soleus part as well more? u know the part under the calf muscle? just checking if my information is correct do u agree?
also for the lower abs what exercise do u think best for them? i usually train them with the legs crunch or lift them up what do u think is good for them or better?

Lol I already have a great idea how to do the standing donkey calf raises :) i am pretty exited about it
and this tuesday i will do a max out video for leg press, last week i had 4 plates on each side and went down for 12 reps so that made me wander how much can i actually do?
Guess Ill find out .
and you are right there is no gain if u r not pushing.
i have a recommendation for calfs. Since there a fast recovery muscle do 6 sets of 12 to 16 reps with 30 seconds beak. and hit them again and again that should grow them in no time!!
arcticnova4ever (6 months ago)
hehe computers are weird arent they? :P
oh thanks :) yeah they are fun :) looking forward to see what u can do for the calf videos :)
i train them many ways since they are always stubborn to grow even on the leg press i do calf exercises also seated calf raises donkey not very much and feet parallel feet in and out for standing calf raises
i happen to like biceps abs and calves to workout on :)
what are your favorite body parts?
good luck with your training and remember "no pain no gain" :)
180 pounds for leg presses? very impressive :D i do 450 pounds on that really effective workout :)
have an awesome day as well
