The figures are not based on any specific film version. They are based on the Dark Horse comic versions of Alien and Predator.
But you are right about the back tubes. They are supposed to be there, unless it is supposed to be a runner alien.

@ThePokefan456 Mohawk is basiclly a new stripe. He is the main villain in the sequel "Gremlins 2: The New Batch". Alot of people confuse him with Stripe because they both look similar in Mogwai form.
