Is there a trick to making room 2 of hell look that easy? L2 sword and going slow usually does the mobs just fine for me, but those bricks are jerks.

@tfp1119 If you are low on hp, just focus on misery. During her attack, sue can be interrupted by a single shot, and misery spawns lots of minions which can drop hearts when she is hit.

Also, after the muscle doctor, if you talk to Choko (the blue Mimiga) twice, hearts spawn in his room to help...

Oh wow, they give you way more max health, don't they? Still, 55 feels like too little hp your first time through, until you see those speed runs with minimal items. Glad they kept Ballos' creepy grin.

I'm working on a hardmode run, and I have to say I was a little disappointed with the "last" trio. That damnable hidden cave was harder than these lot. Then again, I got squished by falling blocks.

For a tip with the ballos run, once you get past the room of falling blocks, take it slow. Kill...

After you finish building the rocket, right next to the signs with skulls on them there is a dog. He will hand you a +5 hp up, even in hard.

Heh, I just got through Monster X recently on hard with no machine gun/rockets. Died more to those stupid bugs en route to the boss than from the boss himself before figuring out that the flamer does a good job at clearing them out from behind cover.
